another thing to try is to toggle

WPA2
setting in advanced.

In one university I needed it unchecked to be able to connect (otherwise it would prompt for all information again) for the other...

It seems there is some variation between different participating schools.

Another option might be marble. On the N9 it has the functionality you are looking for (except that voice navigation for bikes does not work for me), but I read somewhere the N900 features lag behind...

In my case, fsck solved the problem. There was some file system corruption.

However, the only way I got it to work was from the phone via opensh, but there should be a simpler way

Up to here it is about the same for me, but then I get "nicht unterstützt" -not supported - as I would if I select bluetooth.
(btw on the german version I use I get slightly different words...

Did not work for me, I tried /opt/phoneme/runmidlet as well as "run midlet". Still says GPS not supported, but if I run as root that the midlet does not start at all.

It works for me as well on my N9, but only with your test jar, not with Google maps or db Rail navigator.

Just as an additional confirmation, I have no sound on the N9 as well.

Ist there any chance that GPS is supported ever on the N9?

Hi, I tested portrait mode on my N9, and it works. In particular, the handyticket app is now useable, as the ticket now fits the screen.

Also the bahn's rail navigator app looks better in...

New build works for me just as the old build on n9.

But is there no way to run in portrait mode on n9?
That would solve my back bar issue.

I am running fullscreen already, without it is even worse. ( I use the N9 btw)
But if it does not work securly I better continue to use the browser version, (even if it is far less convenient.)
