Re: Wagic: a Magic The Gathering etc. engine

Yes, that's what I meant but you phrased it better than I did.

Thanks for the tip about the interrupt, it might prove useful. Using the volume buttons is nice, but it's not very comfortable for me...

Re: Wagic: a Magic The Gathering etc. engine

Thanks again for all your hard work.

I was wondering : is there a way to skip phase using the touch interface ? Right now, I'm using a volume key press, but it feels a bit awkward. It would be...

Python / pyQt : how to grab a volume key press ?

Well, everything is in the title. I have a python application, using PyQt, and while I can grab a keypress from the main keyboard, pressing the zoom key will only result in changing the sound volume...

Re: Gish ported to OpenGLES - Possible on Maemo 5?

Will it run nicely on the N900 ? I've tried running the original Gish on my netbook, it's playable but not very fluid. Probably because of the physics engine.

Re: Wagic: a Magic The Gathering etc. engine

Interesting changelog ! With a good touchscreen interface and no power consumption when minimized, I'm pretty sure that Wagic will replace Angry Birds as my main "I have 2 minutes to waste"...

Re: PyQt noob question : QTextBrowser next screen

Thanks for the quick reply !

This seems like a good idea. Actually, I thought about this too :p However, I see two drawbacks to this :

I think the OP might want to run the game faster than its normal speed on the native platform. Like being able to walk twice as fast in the game. Time compression, basically.

No idea how to do...

Re: Wagic: a Magic The Gathering etc. engine

Great interface ! It really feels natural in this video, not at all tackled on an existing keyboard interface. This is definitely the way Wagic is meant to be played :D

Re: Wagic: a Magic The Gathering etc. engine

Wow, you do a great job at porting this stuff, AND you listen to your users ? That's far better than what most commercial devs companies can do :D
Thanks.

Re: Wagic: a Magic The Gathering etc. engine

Great work, thanks Xawotihs. The roadmap seems really exciting.

I'd also like to suggest another feature : it would be great if the game had a proper 'sleep' feature, so that it does not consume...

Re: Spacetime substitute?

Maybe a mix of GNU Octave (for computation) and Gnuplot (for plotting) would do the trick. You'll probably have to install Easy Debian and grab the Octave package from there, unless someone ports...

However, I'm facing a bug that is a bit of a dealbreaker for me. I tend to listen to music at a pretty low volume, but every...
