Re: MediaBox Media Center V0.95

Haha I did use a batch editor (no way I would do it by hand.. though one of my college friends once redid his entire iTunes metadata by hand when drunk though...haha).

The thing is it still shows...

Re: MediaBox Media Center V0.95

Hmm I wound up editting all my id3 tags and it still doesn't show up properly as artist > album. Even though the only remaining tags are artist, album, year, and track # ( killed the other tags).

Re: MediaBox Media Center V0.95

I am hearing every now and then (a minute sometimes less) a kind of skip in the audio stream when listening to internet radio. If I switch over to Media player to listen to the same station the audio...

Re: Advanced Backlight Statusbar Applet

Well, feature bloat and the fact that I'd have to redo my icon . . . and you know that's completely and totally unacceptable. :p ;) Besides, it's not like anybody can actually figure out how to work...

Re: Advanced Backlight Statusbar Applet

It could be cool to combine bluetooth management as well, but I'm really starting to worry about feature creep taking a good applet and making it into a bloated mess. Therefore, I've decided to limit...

Re: Advanced Backlight Statusbar Applet

So, my n800 is working again (for now)! It looks like the onboard flash memory may be semi-broken, but it only seems to become an issue when I get it near 90% full. I guess somewhere towards the end...

Re: EmemFM2 File Manager Tutorial (Hierglyphs Explained)

Major co-sign! One of my favorite apps out there, it's #2 in my personal menu right after xterm. More than anything EmelFM2 helps me to learn the linux file system.

I'm no where near an expert,...

Re: USB 2366 Mini Keyboard

Hmmm, I thought the problem would be independent of the type of keyboard, and more to do with the type of adapter. I'm using a non-OTG one and redtaco99 appears to be using an OTG one and...

Re: Maemo SDK VMware Appliance Imaged to a Real PC

I think this has to do with the way the maemo developers decided to handle the keyboard.

Re: Maemo SDK VMware Appliance Imaged to a Real PC

I think window manager wise, you would be ok. XFCE is pretty lightweight.
You would have to dpkg-reconfigure the xserver because vmware driver would not run.

As for the rest of it  :p
