@pichlo: there is a patch for a single swipe down to turn off the display: Restore swipe to lock; or Topmenu control (web-catalog in patchmanager)

If I understood the release log for 3.0 correctly, a swipe from the top in the middle-area opens the top-menu. a top swipe at the edge (left or right) closes the app. I would like to close an open...

Is there a patch to disable the new middle-swipe to top menu?
I just want to close close apps and lock the device with a swipe from the top.
Currently staying on 2.2.1.18 ...

Thank you so much jobe! This is awesome. I use KeePassX on Linux to store my passwords. I just opended the .kdb file with ownKeepass and it worked.

Quality seems to be pretty good. The fit is even better than with my Raedan-bag for the N900 and Yomix-bag for the N9.

Same here. VPN works under wifi but not with GSM/UMTS.

Another reboot did the trick... Removing filemanager.list was not necessary.

So I gave my good old N900 to my girlfriend (owning a N9 now..)
The problem is, the N900 can't connect to the internet with her provider (bob - Austria).

I tried the username/password setting...
