Flash 10.1 for N900 will be available, maybe not at the same time as android, but at the same time as the Linux version. I think it doesn't require very hard work to port from the desktop Linux...

Quick update... no progress :(. I was not able to make any sense of elf2boot files used to update Nokia devices, this was my primary attack vector.

In fact, I just followed some Ubuntu instructions and started to succesfully move audio from a Ubuntu 9.10 box to a Windows 7 desktop. First part done.
I'm not sure how pulseaudio devices discover...

I've tested this on a couple of iPhones, got from 44 fps (iPhone 2G, OS 3.1.2) to 87 ! (iPhone 3GS).
Desktop results around my testing vary from 64 fps on Firefox 3.5.4 and 65 fps on IExplorer...

The iPhone version is free as in beer, because the iPhone platform and market is seen as a valuable asset in itself, and everybody wants a piece of that.
The problem isn't making a free maemo-shop...

Well, let's look at the most succesfull aplications for Maemo 4, and we'll see nothing ground breaking, but apps that are considered "must have" system enhancements on a smartphone or Linux computer...

I think the real hurdle is to get a Linux kernel working on the bare hardware - after this we can push Mer, Maemo, even Android as userland.
A second worthwhile consideration is to boot the Linux...
