I had the same problem with my lumia I wrote about it in my xda guide, use a larger screwdriver like T5 or T6 whichever is the next one up in size (I can't remember) worked for me ..good luck

Try to re-attach all the connectors (I can't remember which one is responsible for charging but you probably connected it wrong) :)

I have posted a link to a russian video that shows very clearly how to take the n9 apart and one of the steps is removing the battery. I get that you wont understand the language and the video isnt...

The seller that i ordered my lumia parts from was called "headlane ltd" they are a uk firm, i contacted them and they said they get legit parts.. The ones i got look exactly the same as the original...

I have changed the housing on my lumia 800 and two processes are very similar, so I can share my experience :)
First watch the video about how to take it apart, in not sure there are any English...

go to notification, feeds on home screen and you can see some new features like how often it updates and which of rss feeds to include, very easy to use now!

just got notified for a new facebook friend request! now my n9 finally notifies me of things like a normal phone!
the background for the updates menu is black aslo and looks awesome!

SGS2 on ICS makes your browser pages look blue-ish on purpose i tried to switch it off and thought i did but on the picture it looks like i didnt :) ignore that one then

what i want to add is simply that i will use my lumia or my RAZR untill PR1.2 comes out.. its just that it's ui is too slow for me i want it to be snappier.. n9 looks like the phone that should've...
