Can't see why not, there's no obvious limitation to the nature of the screenshots mentioned in the first post even if the most recent posts have all been about backgrounds and themes.

eCoach patched to use OviMaps backends. Pictured here are the "normal" view and "normal with public transport" (a.k.a. normal transit). Hybrid (a.k.a. satellite) backend is also in there now ;)

I found the dictionary app on the N97 mini to be extremely useful. Not only is it completely local (once installed), it includes noun gender for languages such as German.
Pity this isn't available...

I have a feeling most apps will not work very well as they are built firstly for the Maemo graphic toolkit, and secondly for the screen layout and resolution. At very least you'll have odd display...
