Re: delete APN (data connection)

Run the second command. You will get a long list of APN entries, some of which will have paths ending in long alphanumerics like aff98e8.... Take the last segment of the path for the one you want...

Re: N900 - Sold out on Amazon ($349 price point)

I think you can probably safely hang on to it with the expectation of getting your money back at some point, just keep it cosmetically clean and in good working order. I plan on keeping mine until...

Re: What case and screen protector

Otterbox commuter case. It's chunky but it's very effective. Comes with a really good screen protector.

Re: N950 will succeed N900

My wife has the Defy. Battery life has disappointed thus far (but it's a nice, tough little phone).

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing

Using nice on an apt-get install of gnumeric worked this time. I will rsync the image again and try inkscape.

Can't really...

Re: Easy Debian Fremantle Beta Testing

I tried removing my v3d and installing v3e. I'm noticing that in v3e, when I do an apt-get-update and follow that with an attempt to install either R (r-base) or Inkscape, my phone restarts in the...

Re: Adobe Flash Player 10: When will the update arrive? Is it coming at all?

My phone does exactly what I bought it to do, and I think it was well worth the $500 I paid for it. I don't have to haul my notebook around anymore, and I've got Debian apps whenever I want them...

Re: Google Nexus One, The Phone I Should Have Bought From The Very Start.

Yes. You get a choice of mobile or desktop mode, and in desktop you can create/edit to your heart's content.

Re: Google Nexus One, The Phone I Should Have Bought From The Very Start.
