It should not be related directly as mostly helps just a dropped cache - without 'sync' in advance.

The most exciting thing about Drop Cache for me is that it is really able to solve some 'slow visual performance' issues on N9 sometime. (I am the author, and an originally primary target of the app...

The same problem for me, impossible to setup flickr account easily.

Workaround - click to 'switch to old m.flickr.com', and later 'use non-mobile version' or something like that. And re-start...

No, there is numeric-only numpad just in case if you have entered numeric only password by a full VKB. If you have entered not numeric-only password - there will be a full VKB.

Devicelock on N9 has 2 different UIs:
1) with own 'Numpad' like PIN query
2) with VKB.
It is not possible to switch between them when device is locked.

It is just a workaround, so if you still have PR1.0 - it would be better to do Settings - Reset - Clear device (device has to be restored to as near as possible to 'out-of-box' state and lock code...
