There is an Archos 5 that has 32 GB of flash with an additional slot as well instead of a hard drive, which is what I would get. I agree about the battery. The video on the device is very impressive....

This is typical of the Linux community. Linux people are great at starting things and terrible at finishing them. I would guess that greater than 99% of all Linux apps have not reached a 1.0 version....

I looked at Diablo. Only thing that I can see is that 0.2.1 ends with all.deb where 0.9.5 ends with armel.deb. Maybe this is confusing the system somehow. Maybe if it finds an all.deb this overrides...

While working on the sound problem I was able to get it to work as is. One needs to enable sound in the Preferences->Sound GUI. Also to get sound on moves one needs to enable it under the Settings...
