Re: ANNOUNCE: Easy Debian Turbo-Charged Edition!

I installed the new version, and now it asks me for a password when I run Debian chroot. The password I use to use does not work, how can I reset it?

Kismet+GPS+n810+Diablo

Ok, I know there is a Kismet thread, but I'm having problems finding a deb that works in Diablo and gives GPS support with the n810. I've searched around the forums, but if it's in there then it's a...

Re: ANNOUNCE: Easy Debian Turbo-Charged Edition!

So, I take it removing this is as simple as just uninstalling the package, and deleting the HD image from your flash drive?

Re: The Kismet Thread

Thanks, but I'm already using the "suiduser=user option". It works find if I disable the GPS, but then it's not very useful for a wardrive. I've attached my kismet.conf file, as it is too long t post.

Re: Oops, I deleted the GPS data

Thanks, glad you like my site. I'm a noob to the n810, but so far I love the device. I just wish the power cord did not wiggle so much, it feels like it's not all the way in.

Re: Oops, I deleted the GPS data

Thanks, what repository is "Personal menu" in? And TrulsT, what you said worked perfectly, though downloading 750MB to the n810 is pretty slow. :)

Re: The Kismet Thread

Using the kismet_2008-05-R1_armel.deb mentioned earlier in this thread, what is the most straight forward way to get it using the GPS and saving data to the miniSD card?

Re: Oops, I deleted the GPS data

Thanks. As a side note, I installed Memo Mapper also, but there's no icon in the menu, I have to run it from the terminal. Is there a good way to fix that? I'm on Diablo.

Re: Power cord does not fit well

Damn, I bought it online so taking it back would be a pain. Maybe I could just live with it, though it is so tempting to push the charger in.

Re: One big .install file?

Thanks much, that's what I need. Most of those say "chinook", will they still work fine in Diablo?

Nokia N810 Wimax for $250?

I found this:

http://www.0880-hottronicshop.com/nokia-n810-wimax-edition-internet-tab810.html

but that sounds too low to be true. Is the Wimax version even out yet?
