Re: My letter to Jolla and what was wrong with Harmattan

Re: [Announce] BackupMenu - OS backup & restore | New version - Jul 9th(v1.1)

The most promising way I tried so far was the following. The 'zimage' FIASCO kernel image I grabbed from the webpage suggested and extracted it using the archive-manager

sudo flasher-3.5 -F...

Re: [Announce] BackupMenu - OS backup & restore | New version - Jul 9th(v1.1)

Thanks Rob1n that'll be it right there as kernel-power got updated about a week ago IIRC. Argh. That's a big stumbling block but seems unavoidable.

It looks like there's some info on downgrading...

Re: [Announce] BackupMenu - OS backup & restore | New version - Jul 9th(v1.1)

Help? Backupmenu stopped working for me.

I'm having a problem with restoring my n900 - I had a documented, working procedure (see --> http://pastebin.com/9XL8HbR4 <--) that involved flashing the...

Re: cryptsetup: encrypted filesystem on your N900

If you mean encrypting the SD card as above, then any recent Linux installation on your desktop should ask you for the password before mounting the SD card. That's what happens in Ubuntu 11.04 at...

Have you had a chance to address that? I'd prefer system GPS was off.

I hadn't read this thread before today though I'd been hoping to try Witter out based on the good reviews you've gotten (like...
