In my car (citroen c4) the lighter is far from the front panel, so i need:
lighter to usb adapter (i'm using aiio USB-MCLA-B but doesen't work with n900)

I have also an usb car adapter that doesn't work, i think i need to short the D+ and D- pins together but with a resistor or directly ?

After two days of reboots, now my n900 doesen't see the sim card anymore.
At this point i think this is an hardware issue.

I had a reboot yesterday night, and afther that i used ssh to monitor the logs on a pc to see what happens before the reboot.
Used a lot with 12 apps running for 2 hours but no reboot, this...

My device rebooted (not always):
- changing apn;
- updating weather forecast;
- writing an sms
- opening the application menu;
- opening the terminal;
etc. etc.
Since yesterday it rebooted...

I think vmstat will be more usable.
Open a shell and type:
vmstat -m 10 > <path_where_to_place_text_file>/<file_name>.txt
leave the shell opened, this will write process statistics every 10...

I think you are right, before the reboot the system freezes, it seemed the cpu was at 100% and then reboot.

All default, the only thing i changed is:
- Cellular network fixed to 2g (seems more stable)
- Data connection: ask
- Apn: iphone.vodafone.it :)

some minuts ago, I was writing an sms and then reboot, this was the device conditions:
- Wi-fi off
- Celullar network fixed to GSM
- No other applications opened
- gps off
/proc/bootreason...

mine contains:
/usr/bin/ohm-session-agent: 1
/usr/bin/hildon-desktop: 1
My device rebooted with this conditions:
- When no connected to charger
- Connected to charger

Thanks for your reply,
i set the phone to 2g only and it seems more stable, but when i connected the n900 to the pc the device rebooted.

N900 Unexpected reboots
Hi all,
yesterday in the afternoon i get my n900.
I used it for two hours and it rebooted 4 times:
- The first time rebooted when i changed APN
- The second time rebooted when i installed...
