i think not. there isn't really (yet) a phone that would replace my N900...
but it's up to you ;)
why don't you keep your N900 and buy another phone and if you miss your maemophone, just sell...

This is sooooo weird.
when i plug charger in (while the phone is off) i get the usual dim charging mode logo with no baclight. and when i press the power button while it is charging, my phone boots...

i tried that before. it works for a while but the problem comes back after some time. i also tried just to disconnect the screen from the mainboard and thats usually enough to get it working... ...

does your screen unlock normally? with my N900 i have to use the lock switch 5-10 times just to get the lights on. it's wery annoying....

weird... i disassembled the WHOLE thing and put it back together. now it works just fine. also i put screen brightness to maximum. could that be it?
well see how long it works until same thing...

This morning the screen went completely black without turning on even after battery was taken out and put back. it responds to touch though.

Hello eweryone. i have weird little problem with my N900's display. sometimes it won't turn on the lights when i open the slider. it usually turns on when i use the dedicated lock switch on the right...

i have tried it, but it didn't work how i was hoping. it somewhat works, but the dl speed is only about 20 to 30kb/s and when i connect using usb and onetouch i get some 800 to 900 kb/s :D

i had to connect manually from one touch acces.
also, i'we had problems with internet connection pefore in win7 and disabling "ipv6" from network settings usually helps.
have you had a usb modem...
