Re: Cheap bluetooth GPS units

airhurt, the bt-5 is an unbranded unitraq BT-5321R (http://www.unitraq.com/product/file/BT-5321R_version%201_.pdf), it seems to have an issue getting a gps fix on my N800, but I created a small...

Re: No room for Personal Attacks

everyone should take a break. the drama surrounding the incident is about 1000 times worse than the actual incident.

Re: FS/FT: N800 in good condition

I would consider any mobile computing devices... but, I have a few palm devices, and I'm not too interested in any CE/WM/PPC/HPC based devices. I would make an exception for a Xybernaut POMA. I would...

Re: Moderators Poll

I voted no. this place is tame and comical when anything erupts, compared to some of the things that happen on other lists. it's not like Dawes, Torvalds or De Raadt are regulars.

Re: GPS receiver..cheapest

I bought a unbranded unitraq BT-5321R bluetooth GPS receiver from geeks.com for $32 USD. I have to mess with it a bit to get it to work with maemomapper, but once it gets a gps fix, it works fine....

Re: theinq calls N800 "future proof"

I don't think it's future proof as far as the hardware goes, but it can have a long future. the real reason why some people are thinking the 770 is obsolete isn't because it doesn't have much life...

Re: The world for right click.

hi penguinbait,

looks like mouseemu requires uinput support, and there doesn't seem to be any. there's no evdev module that I see. looks like the usage would be `mouseemu -middle 0 0 -right 0 71`...

Re: The world for right click.

hmmm, has anyone ever compiled gpm on the 770/N800?

the X server is being called with the arguement "-mouse tslib" at boot in the /etc/rc.d/S21x-server script. I'd be interested to see if we...

Re: ESCAPE key not working in Vim

ah, sorry... I meant the button on the side of the N800 with the half-circle arrow corresponds to escape on the keyboard.

all the buttons are keyboard keys. + = F7, - = F8, the one in the middle...
