Lol, yeah I know ;) I had briefly "played" with gtk before but decided on Qt. I had a look again at Gtk tonight and realised why I chose Qt :D

Glad you tested the app, just the feedback I was looking for ;) I have noticed the Hildon keyboard does not show when selecting the amount box so I guess this is related. I will look into this asap.

Thanks. I know its just a small app so sorry for giving you a hard time over Qt, just didn't want other people getting the impression from your posts that Qt is bad and could crash their system ;)

The converter is designed to be portable across OS and will run on most desktops, although the Tablet is my main target. But I take your point, it could grow unwieldy for Tablet use.

As an update, I think I realise what's happening and it is a Platform Dependent issue. It appears Qt by default creates or moves the Quit/Exit menu as the last top level menu item.

n810_itt, how are you rebooting when the Ubuntu boot stalls? Only recovery i've found is removing the battery, but not to keen on continually removing the cover :(
