Lol, yeah I know ;) I had briefly "played" with gtk before but decided on Qt. I had a look again at Gtk tonight and realised why I chose Qt :D

Glad you tested the app, just the feedback I was looking for ;) I have noticed the Hildon keyboard does not show when selecting the amount box so I guess this is related. I will look into this asap.

Thanks. I know its just a small app so sorry for giving you a hard time over Qt, just didn't want other people getting the impression from your posts that Qt is bad and could crash their system ;)

Well i suppose it depends just how much you have installed on the internal memory. I've not cloned to SD and have quite a few apps installed, including development libs;

Thanks, this does work but will have to check what kind of overheads it adds to the app since i dont use any hildon methods at the moment.

I will be implementing this soon. At the moment the program automatically grabs the latest rates when it starts, this doesn't cause any noticeable delay as its fairly quick - but obviously relies on...

The converter is designed to be portable across OS and will run on most desktops, although the Tablet is my main target. But I take your point, it could grow unwieldy for Tablet use.

n810_itt, how are you rebooting when the Ubuntu boot stalls? Only recovery i've found is removing the battery, but not to keen on continually removing the cover :(
