That kinda sounds like the save file has bad permissions (e.g. you can't write it for some reason). It should be in the ~/.opentyrian directory, if you want to take a look.

FWIW, PR1.2's MicroB has been very subpar for me. Uses way too much CPU (this is the killer, the phone runs ridiculously hot with the browser open) and implodes when I have the audacity to open 4 or...
