Is there a way to disable auto launch of the Camera when the lense cover is open?

Hello,

My lense cover broke off :(. Now I have a problem. When ever I touch the sensor area it believes the lense cover is open and launches the camera. This is annoying.

Re: Forgive me for I have sinned...bought a HTC G2

Good for you. I am going to go with the HTC Pyramid if the specs meet expectations. These friggin android phones always have such little onboard storage. Lets hope this one is different.

Re: Is there anything we can do??

This is a huge point that hasn't been discussed yet. The Corporate heads have just kicked their entire staff in the groin. Don't expect the people you work for to have much respect for you when you...

Re: Goodbye Meego, goodbye Nokia

We all bought N900's under the impression that the device would have a future. It turned out to be a "bait and switch". As much as I am still interested in the Meego phone it's going to have to be...

Re: the n900 cost 275$$$ NEW !!!

OP has a legitimate point. 50% devaluation over a year for cell phone is significant. This is entirely due to Nokia making this a dead end product.

Re: Nitdroid today, auto-installer and 1st impression and 0.0.8 installation AND PR 1.3 UPGRADE and Titan power45!

Ever since my USB port broke I can't get into Nitdroid. I get to the unlock screen, and my LED light flashes red. I get a low battery indicator and it shut down.

Re: Have you ever noticed how much bulk the back cover adds to the N900?

to me it's not a question of thickness, it's that it doesn't line up flush with the back surface of the phone. It's just an observation. I am guessing Nokia engineers have more experience with this...

Have you ever noticed how much bulk the back cover adds to the N900?

title says it all. Take off your back cover and hold the phone in your hand. It's significantly thinner. Somehow I feel like if this piece was better designed we would have a sigificantly device.
