I am pretty sure its hardware related, unfortunately. I discovered that squeezing or reorienting the phone suddenly gets the audio level back leading me to believe there is a bad connection in there...

Replace Boot image?
Hi!
Thanks to the great work of people here on the forums I have changed the boot up animation movie. However, I would like to change the Nokia boot image as well. Anyone know how?

I can confirm the bug with contacts transparency. I didnt have the issue when using 0.98, but just installed 1.0 and the issue is there. Even after the reboot.
Still a great theme though!

I think its supposed to beep to tell you that its still alive and transmitting. It should stop or at least be inaudiable when playing music though..

Still, it does seem to be a pretty serious issue affecting quite a few. It should be brought to Nokia's attention and they should fix it... Right now, the N900 is very difficult to make calls with..

Disabling 3G is not really an option for me. However, I found that not being signed into IM nearly doubled my battery life. I am quite used to being online 24/7 but maybe I will have to revise that...

I got my N900 because the 2010 HTC Roadmap still didnt reveal a qwerty-featured Android phone. I was so dissapointed, and even though I love Android, I just coulndt live with the qwerty-less Hero.
