isnt there any costum shell that enables bash? i have found my self too trying things that in a normal linuix system would work , but i got bizzar behavior on the output

when i am using the app manager there is an update available 84.1mb, i press continue and then its says that i need to use connect my n900 to my pc via usb cable. and to create a back up. so i cant...

if n900 stays on for 3 days , starts to freeze . reboot it and it will be fine.There is a post where someone has created scripts wich fix the problem , instead of rebooting ur phone.
