Re: [ANNOUNCE] cuteTube-QML - A feature-rich YouTube client

You could also install tracker-cfg and change the locations the tracker indexes. The stock media player only "sees" those locations tracked by the tracker.

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks --> Everything Needed To Have A Perfect N900

@All

I think I read in the power kernel thread that if you have SmartReflex activated (don't remember if vdd1, vdd2 or both) the device will use an algorithm with its own frequencies, so it...

Re: surprisingly: WebOS is going open source

I remember something (maybe I'm wrong here) about Flash for the N900 and WebOS' flash. I don't really know if it's even possible.

Anyway, good news for open source communities.

Re: [Announce] kernel-power stable v49 in Extras-Devel

Can't help you man. I recently upgraded form KP48 to KP49, deinstalled speedpatch and batterypatch prior to upgrading, and my conclussion is that it handles very well battery consumption.
It's quite...

Re: Adobe Flash Player 10: When will the update arrive? Is it coming at all?

No, you are not using flash 11. You will be able to use flash 9 engine generated contents but that were "marked" as flash 11 contents. I'm not sure about what I'm talking about, but I remember that...

Re: [Announce] - TwimGo - Twitter client for N900/Qt Web Runtime

It seems that this version shows previews of photos in TwimGo. At least I saw that on a twit with a twitpic link.

Re: N900 user habits?

Oh, yes, of course: I hate Flash. It's a really annoying software, especially when on Linux or other non hyper-commercial devices (as N900).

Re: N900 user habits?

I would say the same as Boemien. But I take the gaming thing out (it drains battery too fast to be a feature I'd like to have), and I put the mobile apps device thing in. I like to be able to use...

Re: 30 Awesome new features in Android 4 'Ice Cream Sandwich'

N900 with Alien Dalvik would be better too. Why (why why why why why) we are not able to get that incredible feature? I wouldn't be needing an Android device for anything. Oh, got it, that's why. :(

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks --> Everything Needed To Have A Perfect N900

You have the solution right in your hands. You slide the keyboard open, then you lock the phone and finally you can close the keyboard. I remember karam telling this, so that when closed, the device...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks --> Everything Needed To Have A Perfect N900

@ All of you people

I was not ok with the battery lasting I had been having. I think because I deinstalled and installed the batterypatch (KP version). So I checked "overclock" profile. i saw that...

Re: [REQUEST] Google+ N900 Client apps?

Not so perfectly. Text is very, very small. Is there a way to make it larger, or apply zoom on it?

EDIT: It's pretty good. Sorry I didn't say that. It was just because you said perfect ;)

Re: [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks --> Everything Needed To Have A Perfect N900

However, is hardly impossible (don't trust this guy, it's really IMPOSSIBLE) for the battery to last a day...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] cuteTube-QML - A feature-rich YouTube client

I don't know if I lose that amount of battery when playing videos, but it makes a huge drain, that's for sure. I just use it when it comes necessary to me. But I think I get quite a high drain...

Re: [NEW UPDATE FOR BATTERY PATCH] [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks ----> Every Thing You Need To Have Perfect N900

I must say bobbydoedoe, that my device used to behave that way when I had no kernel-power nor speedpatch.

I'd tell michalurban to go ahead and try speedpatch to check wether he sees an...

Re: [NEW UPDATE FOR BATTERY PATCH] [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks ----> Every Thing You Need To Have Perfect N900

I invoke Karam!
I don't know the answer for sure, I have tried all these patches with Power Kernel, and don't actually know the internal logic.

Re: [NEW UPDATE FOR BATTERY PATCH] [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks ----> Every Thing You Need To Have Perfect N900

You are confused and confusing him. Batterypatch is the one with a non KP version. Speedpatch has only one version, nothing to do with Kernel Power...

Re: The in-development Maemo 5 Community SSU

I didn't notice that with speedpatch and batterypatch from Karam. But it could be. Take into account that the shift from landscape to portrait consumes CPU. And with many opened windows () all...

Re: [NEW UPDATE FOR BATTERY PATCH] [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks ----> Every Thing You Need To Have Perfect N900

I'm kind of sleepy, but I think that the "cgroup" thing has something to do with speedpatch, not batterypatch. It is also on repositories. Check it out.

Re: [NEW UPDATE FOR BATTERY PATCH] [ANNOUNCE] Speed Patch + Battery Patch + Tweaks ----> Every Thing You Need To Have Perfect N900

Maybe you could post here what did you do and what do you have installed right now. I mean if you installed previous batterypatch (scripts version, not the repositories or the ".deb" ones).
Do you...
