As for the accuracy, I'd suggest to do what I do - assuming you have WiFi in your house. Set your house as a ZapLoc and set it to auto-check-in based on WiFi. it will use the GPS position you set in...

Possible - I had to re-code the entire posting-to-latitude coz it was frankly easier than trying to understand the strange google api for Oauth2... since I had hand-coded OAuth2 for all the other...

Google switched to OAuth2, Latitude used to be on the defunct old OAuth1 model. I was on the latitude mailing list but wasn't paying attention that they were actually *shutting down* the OAuth1 route...

My good old N900, any time I clicked an .mp3 link, gave me options "download or stream". Symbian always downloads, but allows me to play WHILE downloading (same result).

I am not myself doing anything with supl.nokia.anything that's the N900 location stuff. All I do is ask the location layer for positoins. I do nuttin' more (well, okay, the WiFi-based location stuff...

It did. A 0.9.5-2 build was just posted that should fix this, along with the fact that the Gowalla people broke their API completely... which should now be fixed... I hope....

This is a known "misfeature", in that someone requested that "if I am moving, Latitude should update more often". Well, the logic for that is a tad broken, and there is no setting for *MAXIMUM*...
