To enable backup loading you have to change dev_xxxx to dev_bdvd in the psfreedom.ko

open it with HxD

I'm not talking about piracy, it's only to help pushing PSFreedom to the maximum

To enable backup loading you should use psfreedom.ko Patched that you can find here:

there are 2 version, 1 for stock, 1 for power kernel.

PSGroove 1.1 has been released and they say it's ok with 3.42 fw.

So we should wait for an update by KaKaRoTo of PSFreedom according to the new PSGroove 1.1.

I think that someone here can help you to make the .deb, and the idea of a status menu widget is fantastic to remind you that you're jailbreaking. like bluetooth.

However i think that it can be useful to make also a simple widget with a button to switch PSFreedom ON/OFF like bluezwitch.

I checked with HxD the psfreedom.ko for the Power Kernel in the first page and it seems it's not patched.

So i now modify /dev_xxxx to /dev_bdvd

Is that right?
