No I havent tried anything yet.

Yes, I have backupmenu already installed.

Right now the device is just going thru a lot of reebot loops when I turn it on, so it only works from time to time...

Any other sugestion then? phone keeps rebooting sometimes ending in a reboot loop.

Any one please? my file system is so corrupted that my n900 wont go for more than 30 minutes without rebooting so I really need that reflash

thanks for the help.

1. yes I have tried with a diferent one and it doesnt work, the camera cover doesnt activate the camera app when I open it either.

2. ls /dev/mmcblk* gives me
/dev/mmcblk0...

Hello everyone, as the title says I am not able to make my n900 recognize the SD card or the back cover at all, I already had the magnet problem once and I solved it just by putting a small magnet...

Thanks for the info, right now i dont need to flash but might be helpfull in the future.

So I guess my question now is is there any way to have a fully functional device when the traces are gone?...

my usb fell off and the traces are gone so i cant solder it back on.

both, it restarts it self and most of the times when this happens or when i turn it on it shows the nokia logo over and over.
