Since PR1.2 the build in music player of the N9 does exactly that.
I use it daily for listening to audio books.
(With PR1.1 I used Python to save play positions)

I only tried audio books without DRM. To get the option of saving the audio book play position I set the genre tag in my mp3s to "Audiobook".

I am heavily using folders and subfolders in my mailbox and would love to have any tool for selecting visible/synced folders. GUI would be perfect but a hacker approach would be fine too.

could you give me a hint, where I can find a complete feature list of MfE for Maemo?
As soon as the N900 is available in Germany I'll test every detail of MfE and post suggestions.

Nice! Access to folders is already a big step forward compared to my E90s Mail for Exchange version.
