Possible for Jolla to mimic iPod?

As I own a headunit in my car that allows iPod control, I was wondering could Jolla be able to mimic iPod. I googled if this can be done in android devices and got this.

Install file browser from jolla store. You can install .rpm files and .apk files easily. ;)

I'm not complaining. Just wondering that the android phone owners automatically think that Jolla couldn't be pleasant to use because it would be slow and laggy. It'll definetly be a huge upgrade...
