Re: N900: Support for Google Calendar and Contacts?

Interesting that people are having problems. I got sync set up with Google today without any issues. Well, not quite no issues...

I only want it to sync my calendar. On Google, I have multiple...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] TwitterBox is now TweeGo!

Thanks for putting the work in on Tweego. This is still the best Twitter client available on Maemo that I've seen!

Quick question: Will you be putting the geotaggng/GPS stuff back into an upcoming...

Re: Dropped N900 ... camera cover doesn't work correctly!

Oh, actually I fixed it. I popped off the lens cover completely. There's a pin which hooks into the backplate; the pin slides back and forth, giving the nice spring-loaded feel you get when you open...

Dropped N900 ... camera cover doesn't work correctly!

This is a fairly superficial question, but: tonight I dropped my N900, and off popped the back cover and the battery. The phone still works fine, apart from the window over the camera.

The window...

Re: Some wonderful news considering N900, MeeGo, PR 1.3 and other good stuff

Nokia's promise was a MeeGo device by end-2010. So, I guess since the N9 isn't ready yet, we get lucky?

Re: [ANNOUNCE] TwitterBox is now TweeGo!

+1

The developers have had a lot of notice on this. I guess there must be an update in the pipeline?

Re: Adobe Flash Player 10: When will the update arrive? Is it coming at all?

Forgive my ignorance, but: How does Frash do it? If there's no official Flash build for iPhone, how open or available is the source?

Re: A serious push towards porting iPhone and Android apps to Qt

From a standards-nerd point of view, Facetime is actually really good news: http://youshottheinvisibleswordsman.co.uk/2010/06/25/iphone4-facetime-and-open-standards/

Given that Facetime is...

Re: fcamera Thread (Bugs, Ideas..etc)

Agree!

Saving RAW data is really cool, but I expect it's not a common use-case. I think that if the default behaviour were to save as JPEG (in a location the gallery will display it!), but with an...

Re: how to buy the new levels of angry bird

Re: Nokia has exciting news for N900 users

To be fair, from a development perspective life is easier if you target the baseline. Handling custom modifications are niceties that come later.

It's entirely possible for them to not be aware of...

Re: Nokia suffers 40% drop in Q2 profits

Their problem isn't the quantity of the units they're shipping. The problem is that Symbian often lags behind other offerings in terms of user experience. Symbian^4 does look like it'll be an...
