Look up the Garnet VM. Its a PalmOS emulator for the n810. The you can just "restore" your zire into the Garnet VM and have the best of both your worlds, PalmOS and Maemo.

The only problem I have with it is it seemed the Icon set got larger for the "combined View." I wish they had left the smaller, small, normal...." setting.

I have flasher-3,0 on Linux and am running ./flasher-3.0 -F RX-44_DIABLO_4.2008.23-14_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R just as I have done several times...

Try changing the collobora repo Dist line in App manager from chinook to diablo. I was able to install after that without issue.

Then you should just be able to install it via application manager. I didn't do anything special.

Have you tried red pill mode? I installed x11vnc on my diablo n810 without issue. I had it in chinook and it installed just fine when I upgraded. I never had any dependency issue.

look up x11vnc in garage. Might be in devel repository too, but not sure. Install x11vnc on the tablet.
Run x11vnc from the terminal or icon and after it started you should be able to connect...
