This is because that is what the original source code did that I ported.
I'm no longer developing for Maemo, so someone could download the source and simply change the begin and end year.

This sounds like network connectivity problems.

You can try to remove your current FourCircle settings. this can be done bij (in a terminal) removing the config file.
For example:
rm /home/user/.config/TedvdB/FourCircle.ini

In my experience it took a day before my checkins begin to appear on facebook. Now they appear almost instant.

Hello fluetke, the config file is located in /home/user/.config/TedvdB/
You can safely remove the file FourCircle.ini te remove your logindata.

I have released a new version last night.

You can add tips to venues now, and the image and extra info of the mayor of a venue is now loaded in the background.

The amount of venues displayed when searching is currently static, but I can make that configurable if there are more people who want that.

That was one of the reasons to start a new project.
I'm not completely satisfied, some screen are still to slow (like the venue details), but I will improve that.

That was my main reason to start an new project, instead of improving Barriosquare; speed.
Python application have a sluggish feel, and I'm trying to prevent that.
