About GRead i'm still using it a lot (only with wifi because my n900 seems broken...

Yes i know media content are not preloaded. And this "bug" is really annoying when the n900 is really offline.
It will be corrected with the full offline mode.

Speaking about this mode, some work...

A new version (1.0.6) is available in Extras-Devel (or will be soon, it's in the queue) with a unique improvement.

You know that you can use "long press" as a right click to display a context...

About the network/proxy, GRead use libgreader (my fork (https://github.com/twidi/libgreader)), which is pure python and do not use the QNetwork (only used by the viewer...

qwengis : GRead is in extras-devel. qt-webkit is in extras too (which one i don't know). So you know what to do :)

As you want, but i think it's easier from your laptop. Remember you must be logged to your Google Reader account before (open one tab with google reader and then open the url i gave you in an other...
