Re: Poll: N900 fans will you buy a N9 or N950 (if u could)?

I like the specs on the N9, but without a keyboard it's a no go. Too hard to use Linux without access to a cli, and if there's a cli, you need a keyboard.

But the larger issue for me is that I'm...

Re: Ovi Maps With Turnbyturn?

Gee, thanks a lot guys. Here I'd been using my N900 all last week, but I leave for a long weekend trip on Friday so I fired up the Galaxy-S again, figuring I'd have to fight Samsung's crappy GPS all...

Re: [Idea] Walkie Talkie with FM Trans/Receiver (Maybe stupid, but just an idea)

Re: Next phone after N900

A few people mentioned the Galaxy-S. I said it shouldn't be considered until they work the bugs out. What's not understanding? English?

Re: How long are you planning on keeping your n900 for?

I've been using a Samsung Galaxy-S (TMO Vibrant) for 2 weeks now, intentionally not switching back and forth. I can't say I'm thrilled with Android. It is slightly more reliable than Maemo, but...

Re: How long are you planning on keeping your n900 for?

If you're running Windows and have a 102 key keyboard (standard with numeric keyboard), you can try to find the right alt+codes for the g (alt+103) and e (alt+101) (also G(alt+0071) and E(alt+0069))....

I picked one up over the weekend and just saying "Me too" on many of the positive comments.

However, I did mistakenly assume there was a native Skype client. Well, I guess there is, but it is...

Re: Dave999's Original, Legendary PR1.2 thread now devoted to Random Chatter and featuring drunk Laughingstok as Chuck Norris

I guess if you're beta testing you can't disclose anything, right? I'm thinking there must be some huge deal breaker of a bug that they can't track down or something, or it would be here by now.

Re: what would be your dream app for the n900?

Basic video editor.
Basic photo editor.

eCoach with a HRM rocks. I really like the Zephyr HRM too. It works better than the Polar and Vetta units I've used in the past, although kind of expensive.
