This is a known error in Pidgin 2.6

Yahoo changed the protocol. :(

2.5.5 is what is stable for Ubuntu to avoid same error.

I did not find much discussion on the 770 port. I see on the web wiki the developers are looking for 770. I have not done much with my 770 since last year. It works, so I do not try to fix it.

I am getting errors and even after running Canola Cleanup on OS2008 HE booted from MMC.

even apt-get -f install gnumeric could not solve dependancies.... :confused:

emelFM2 works like a charm for removing the hidden files.

Are you using Flasher 2.0 and command line or are you using the Nokia tool in windows to flash the High-speed kernel?

I found it Easier to install wget and use ssh to do this scripting.

Until the above when I ran out of space and boot loops.....

maybe tomorrow we will get somewhere. I can access the 8 GB...

You only need a 2GB drive.

I am not sure if this applies to the NIT, but the directions may...

saruji, If I remove my memory card, my 770 loops at boot also.

When I put it back in, it is fine.

Go to Applications> Control Panel> Memory and see if you requested virtual memory into the...

~ /MyDocs $ tar zxvf kernel_flasher.tgz

No such file or directory.

Is your preference 2007HE or 2008HE?

Before my recent WSOD (installing Canola borked), and a trip to Alabama repair, I had 2007HE running. I reinstalled 2006 as it was faster from the XP machine....
