root yes.
wget is not installed by default.
You can get it by running 'apt-get install wget' (as root)

Seems that when selecting the @Click update option, it still runs the active script when returning to the desktop from apps or the app list or scrolling to the desktop it's on...

Another thing to note is that if your card was encrypted on the other phone, the N900 will not recognize it even with a re-format on the other phone. You have to remove the encryption from it 1st.

Same for me, won't show my SanDisk 4gb MicroSDHC card when inserted into the phone. Any pointers on how it could mayhaps be manually mounted and reformatted on the phone?

Are you using exchange server 2003? I'm suspecting the most likely cause is the following bug: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5597
