I just tested my win 4.0.0 and it works correctly. I'm not sure which ini files I'm using but maybe these (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=1158049&postcount=330) works.

Koitin karttojen osalta tuota 3.6.4 win versiota. Mapsin puolesta kartat kyllä latautuu mutta itsellä on ongelmia F-securen palomuurin kanssa, jostain syystä ei tule sitä kyselyä, että sallitaanko...

I have not any problem with 3.5.5 and N900 so far. Finnish and also swedish WMS servers working with that WMS setting ini. As Kung Foo said your (shanttu) problem sounds like you did not remove .txt...

I have two problems with 3.4.9 for N900.

- I cannot disable screensaver. I try to tab the disable screensaver icon but nothing happen. I can tab all the other icons but only the disable...

I tried win 2.9.9 version with my laptop and Globalsat BU-353 GPS USB receiver SiRF III. I add gpsComPort=COMxx to settings ini. It got the gps fix and location was correct but it didn't follow up...

If you only copy the wms_settings.ini.txt file it doesn't work. You also have to remove .txt extension. (2. Copy wms_settings.ini to /home/user/MyDocs/.mapsi/ (remove .txt extension)) Maybe you did...

Yes I installed just that 2.0.0 yesterday but I got those problem with it. I haven't installed any previous version, only 2.0.0.

I have also blank screen problem. I ran Mapsi in x-term:
