Re: [WiP] Porting Emumaster 0.3.0 to Qt5/SailfishOS

Hi,

some more notes regarding things I tested with the latest build:

SNES works on a Nexus5x.
I did not test anything else due to time constraints.
SNES and NES do not work on the Jolla...

Re: [WiP] Porting Emumaster 0.3.0 to Qt5/SailfishOS

PPS:
I managed to update the build with added PSX and NES support.
The version number now is 0.3.2 and you can get it from the usual location.

However, please note that this was done very much...

Re: [WiP] Porting Emumaster 0.3.0 to Qt5/SailfishOS

Hi,

Unfortunately, I never got around to adjust the PSX emulator part.

I think this is the problem.
A GLPainter is used for drawing the content:...

Re: [WiP] Porting Emumaster 0.3.0 to Qt5/SailfishOS

A brief update:

So, it turned out that most of the "hack" I prepared was not necessary,
To 99.5%, my current solution for adjusting the touch input to different resolutions boils down to properly...

Re: [WiP] Porting Emumaster 0.3.0 to Qt5/SailfishOS

Another brief update:
I have to keep it short due to time constraints.

I just build: emumaster-0.3.1-10.77.1.jolla.armv7hl.rpm

This one re-enables several patches for:
- Enable Sound
- Amiga...

Re: [WiP] Porting Emumaster 0.3.0 to Qt5/SailfishOS

PPS:
I could build emumaster with gstreamer 1.0 dependencies.
You can get version: emumaster-0.3.1-10.70.1.jolla.armv7hl.rpm

Re: [WiP] Porting Emumaster 0.3.0 to Qt5/SailfishOS

PS:
I just saw that the first post in this thread contains all the links to OBS etc.
However, I am not sure if it is sufficient to simply update the gstreamer version in the .yaml and .spec files....

Re: [WiP] Porting Emumaster 0.3.0 to Qt5/SailfishOS

Hi,

your best bet is likely to use the initial commit that was uploaded to github:
https://github.com/ruedigergad/emumaster/tree/2afd962e693db6a1ea93edbb0c76c5e918d9a26d

From what I know,...

Re: Jolla C customs...?!

Hehe, indeed.
I didn't want to sound like a smart alec, which, on the second time of reading my post, I probably did. ;)

Anyway, the good news seems to be that HtheB already has his JollaC and...

Re: Jolla C customs...?!

Well, there are also various other possibilities.
It could, e.g., be that they considered the ~160€ price (including taxes) as the gross price and added the taxes on top of that.
It could also be...

Re: [Announce] Pebble Watch Connector daemon

Well, and with respect to the protocol implementation, SkippingStones is mostly merely a Qt/QML port of the libpebble Python implementation.

You live, ehm code, you learn.

Not to forget, for...

Re: [WiP] SkippingStones, Pebble Protocol Implementation and UI for Qt5/SailfishOS

Thank you very much for the feedback.
However, if you are looking for Pebble support for actually using it you should, as HtheB suggested, have a look at Pebbled.
I think Pebbled is better and more...

Re: Help needed to do a backup

Just a wild guess and to double check:
The filesystem on your SD card does not have a 4GB file size limit, like FAT32?
That would explain why you only get a file of ~4GB size.

Re: [WiP] SkippingStones, Pebble Protocol Implementation and UI for Qt5/SailfishOS

I briefly tested it and it works at least for single e-mail notifications.
Notification for multiple e-mails should work too then but I didn't explicitly test it again, right now.

Re: [WiP] SkippingStones, Pebble Protocol Implementation and UI for Qt5/SailfishOS

Actually, if "apps are working with SkippingStones" depends on a number of different factors.

First of all, the watch ending up in recovery mode is not related to whether a watch app actually...
