I would like to suggest the name PureMaps, since it recalls the roots of this project (Poormaps) and at the same time pure let me think about something free from (google and others) contamination.

eekkelund, that's so sad. i hope you are wrong..anyway the closed part is only silica UI and some minor parts, but a community driven ui (like nemo) could be still an option ..no?

best would be, for what i know, to put it in distilled water, then take it out and disassemble it and put into rice or something else able to absorb humidity.
distilled water to wash out salts...

i strongly suggest to avoid gearbest. bad experiences with them, poor customer assistance, i had to really fight to have my rights respected
