Well, the Texas Instruments page on the OMAP1710 proc in the 770 suggests using a TSC2301 audio codec. Just looking at the brief diagram I found on goolge, this should be have a pin that the 770's...

Yeah, I'm sure. Try the magnet thing right below the home key. You'll see what I mean. Also, I don't believe there is a switch at the bottom of the screen. I think it's just a retaining bump.

Look on eBay, there are some sellers offering 770-specific screen protectors for some time now. Perhaps you could persuade them into sending samples. If not, they're not too expensive.

ifconfig?

Is there an ifconfig or equivalent on the nokia 770? I couldn't find it using xterm and I hate having to remove the battery every time I need to get the wireless MAC address.
