For the GPS issue, I switched to suppl.google.com using the n9tweaks app and gps lock is back to being instant. Very happy about that, no more location timeouts from the browser.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the GPS takes longer to get a fix now with PR1.2?

I used to be able to go to the website nextbus.com and it would get a gps fix instantly, now however...

That said I have gotten the cyan case for it and I must say I like the blue so much more and I wish I had gotten a cyan one instead as the cases get dirty far...

Hmmm... I have been using the N9 for the past 3 months and with PR1.1 I find it very usable more so than most Android phones I have used in the past! I also have had friends who are android users...

There never will be a replacement for the N900, the N900 was a hacker device not a mass market device. Looking at how Nokia is moving they are killing off anything thats not mass market, so the N900...

I also wish I could change the browser agent so that we could use some of the HTML5 sites that companies have made for the iphone's browser agent i.e. google music and google voice but they do not...

Not sure where you are shopping keferen but on amazon.com

N9 16GB = $649 ($609 if you want lightly used)
Galaxy S2 = $540 ($450 for used)

Thats much less than $300... The S2 has also been out...

Hmm, whats interesting is if you go to music.google.com on the N9 it looks like it brings up the full version of google music not the iOS mobile version - it looks very different than the screenshots...

Hi all,

Just wondering what everyone is using to protect their N9?

I was using the provided silicon skin which is great but it does not protect the screen so I purchased the Nokia CP-553...

I do not have the maps issue however... I did the NSU update and am still able to get other maps after the update.
