I'm hoping old reader will be the goto once they handle the traffic issues. Guesstimats are they quintippled their userbase overnight. That'll slow down many.

Re: FM transmitter...out of the box, yes, too weak. With forum tweaks to increase power. Rock solid...at least in my part of the world if you haven't come across it yet.

Both my wife and I still use the N900 as our main phone. Neither of us utilize the full power of the device to be sure but I do play with mine often, running thumb. She has yet to see anyone else...

So, I just realized how much time I spend on wifi vs Tmobile's data. Opera 12 has worked great and still does on wifi after the crashing first popped up but I've now noticed the crashing behavior...

Same here, worked perfectly up through last night, constant crash opening any site now. I can also confirm crash seems to go away when opened from xterm.

I can't confirm sluggishness. Snappy and responsive compared to v11 for me running cssu thumb @ 850. Can confirm select-copy issue.

On that single video, there's a definite difference in picture quality. If I have time today I'll fire up another movie or two and see if it's consistent.

Just double checked, mplayer, no stuttering but there was a little fragmentation in the vid compared to gstreamer I originally thought was part of the original recording.

After a week of testing KP49 is completely stable for me, with default, dsp and ideal modes.

The one thing I notice is that even without overclocking, using the media player drains the battery...
