like the os's didn't have the wifi drivers. i coudln't even get either os to look for available networks.

i've tried a hand full of different os's on my n800 but for some reason none of them let me configure the wifi. using deblet i had the lxde desktop but when it booted there were 2 network manager...

how did you get wifi to work? i just installed deblet with lxde using the installer but once i get to the desktop it only shows 2 network manager icons in the bottom right corner and says no network...

is there any way to use the n800 to record audio? as far as i know the 1/8" jack is only headphone out, but would it be possible to connect a usb microphone that works with linux? it'd be pretty cool...

i picked up an n800 the other day with os2008 on it. I'm trying to use bluetooth to connect to my nextel i335 cell phone but it doesn't seem to work. I've got the dial-up internet working no problem...

mozilla thunderbird has a nice addon that lets it check hotmail, not sure if thunderbird will work on the n800 tho.
