All N900 are unlocked. I am not even sure if they have a feature to lock them to a particular network implemented? It is probably why it bombed so hard with the carriers on release :/

Yes it is entirely possible to get the OS map tiles.

I convinced Dwarzdyn to include quad-tree map sources in cloudgps so I could use OS maps. Unfortunatley, Dwardz has moved onto other things...
