Re: Nwer OpenSSL on Maemo Fremantle

@sicelo

I recompiled cutenews and qmlbrowser with cssu-devel libqt4.
For cutenews I set QSsl::AnyProtocol and for qmlbrowser I set QSsl::SecureProtocols.

Both should now support TLS 1.1 and...

Hi!

Would you take a look at this branch of mine https://github.com/agamez/qt-x11-maemo/tree/UpgradeSSL ?

I did a few changes there, similar to those you have, so I could use QT on maemo...

Re: Who is still interested in Neo900?

I do not think these two should be mentioned together in one post.

Probably you meant Letse (an deleted alias username of) Estel (https://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=83928&highlight=estel)?

It's about the persistent anti-customer things they do. Their in-product adds, their dark UI patterns, their telemetry which is very hard to get rid of. And now they want even more control over your...

Re: Who is still interested in Neo900?

The Neo900 should happen, anyway.

Any hope to escape the Android prison would benefit in some small way
by whatever even a mere 67% success would achieve.

There is no downside to launching the...

Although I understand the curiosity and motivation to poll the community (or, as you mentioned, a biased part of the initial user base), I don't think it can do any good to the project. If it were...

Re: QT and OpenSSL 1.1.0h

QT now supports TLS 1.1 and 1.2 if you pass QSsl::SecureProtocols, QSsl::TlsV1SslV3 or QSsl::AnyProtocol to e.g. QSslSocket::setProtocol. I back-ported most of the changes to the ssl code from QT...

Re: Microb and TLS 1.2

Ok so I have identified that microb-engine is using a Gecko revision taken from somewhere in the mozilla-1.9.2/Firefox 3.6.x tree and is using NSS_3_12_6_RTM.
The TLS 1.2 support didn't land until...

Re: [Announce] modRana: a flexible GPS navigation system

Hi MartinK,

it does not seem to work on n900 either because of six.py which tries to access methods (?) that does not available on python2.5: viewkeys = operator.methodcaller("viewkeys").
