Re: Sailfish OS (officially) on Sony Xperia devices

Since you're to the unlocking stage, I guess you're not backing up your DRM stuff from the original FW. If that's the case, I don't think you'll have any troubles following the installation...

Re: Sailfish OS (officially) on Sony Xperia devices

This is what I did, set the Opera browser VPN to report my as Germany, instead of the US. Worked fine. (It did raise a PayPal fraud alert, and PayPal now wants me to change my password, which I have...

Re: Sailfish OS (officially) on Sony Xperia devices

The community OnePlus X port seems substantially more mature and complete than the official Xperia X port. I don't think I would have switched if not for poor US phone network support with the...

Re: Camera phone competition November 2017: HIFI or sound systems

I like davisrases' photo of his N9 taken with an iPhone. Nice angle there. I'm also envious of shanttu's setup there.

Re: Sailfish OS (officially) on Sony Xperia devices

Been unusually busy lately, but I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth (or blasted off to test the spherical vs. flat argument).

<long story alert>

In fact, I've gotten an Xperia X to try...

Re: Sailfish MMS problems - T-Mobile USA

I have problems with sfos on oneplus x(at&t) receiving mms with text attached. Pictures without accompanying text, e.g., come in fine. You might ask those sending mms messages to you to try sending...

Re: Camera phone competition July 2017: Fine Art Photography

Finally, our fine cellphone pictures are valued as the "fine art" they are!

My entry this month: Monarda fistulosa, or Wild Bergamot. The binomial comes from its "fistulous" form, i.e., the...

"I don't know what art is, but I know what I like."

So post anything you like to look at and we'll all have fun.

I gotta get busy figuring how to crop in SFOS.

Re: Auto reply sms on Sailfish OS?

I've looked for such a pre-packaged app, but I haven't found one.

One could write such a thing with sufficient knowledge, patience and time. I keep meaning to do this, but just don't get around...

How did you know red was my favorite color?

Nevermind, just "shut up and take my money!" ;)

But much more seriously, thanks so much for all this work. I'm very excited by this project.

Re: Camera phone competition June 2017: Sports
