Re: Need Help using Easy-Debian from an EXT2 Partition.

Thanks a lot! I'm downloading the Gnome packages, trying to make it work once again.

Note: my Debian partition is on /media/mmc1 (only 1 partition: 100% of the external card). Why is that odd?

Re: Need Help using Easy-Debian from an EXT2 Partition.

Hi all!
Do you guys change the repositories list? (like stable / testing instead of lenny / sid)

Re: Need Help using Easy-Debian from an EXT2 Partition.

Hi everyone!

I finally got everything working (ie. from Qole's Debian image to using it from an EXT2 partition). I thought I might provide a "simple" step-by-step how to, it might help other...

Re: Need Help using Easy-Debian from an EXT2 Partition.

Alright, please disregard my previous post (unless you'd like to explain more in details how not to get the infinite cp: cannot stat '.dev/fd/3/[...] loop).

I installed bzip2 from devel, and it...

Re: Need Help using Easy-Debian from an EXT2 Partition.

Re: Gnome for Debian beta4

Hi Qole!
Would it be possible for you to make a (little bit more detailed) step-by-step guide for installing/running Gnome as you did? (ie. easy debian running from partition)

Thanks in advance!...

N8XX isn't a convergence device. It's what comes after the subnotebook/webtop (as in: desktop > laptop > webtop > handtop/IT).

Actually I owned an N95 8GB, but...
