Many of Nokia's N9s were produced in both Finland and China. Many of their past phones were done the same way. (ex: E7, N8, etc.) :)

Hmmmm....weird. I've connected my ipad and macbook to my N9's hotspot throughout this week and had no problems. Also, the only time I see the ad is after I stop the hotspot session.

I don't think it was a problem with the tweak; I've used it in the past and at this moment. Did you have the homescreen settings app? It might've been the color code you entered since the system does...

Btw it does say the code you have listed above but the UA still changes successfully.
Edit: It says what MK99 has but once you put the password for root, the UA changes...

Ok. Did you try the above? If you did, try uninstalling and then reinstalling.
Btw in the PDF it says, "Status Updater – Big delay until the “Authorization” window opens."

You said you would like all applets...which ones do you want? The wiki page will tell you exactly the buttons for each specific applet.
Anyway, if you just want the notification you'll have to do...
