Re: welcome to a new update all diablo os2008 users!

Crazy. First time I've touched my IT in months (due to my eee 900 taking up the role of 'portable internet' in my life), and there's an update. Just installing now on the way to the office. Hope...

Interesting...not the greatest quality on the tablet, but cool on my N95! Thanks.

Re: N800 Navigation Kit - $57

Just got my nav kit yesterday...best part is the windshield mount. It works with the clamp-type part that came with my N810! The license and the mount were well worth the $60 that I paid at Comp USA...

Re: Freedom Keychain GPS

I don't know that I agree with your point about reception Sevo. While I don't specifically have experience with this brand of receiver, I have used several SiRF Star III receivers, and the reception...

Re: Maemo Mapper v2.2 for OS2006/OS2007/OS2008

I can confirm that leaving the MAC address blank and specifying 'bluetooth' in the settings menu will enable the internal GPS on the N810 to connect to MM. Kind of strange, but welcome nonetheless. ...

Re: N810 and GizmoProject

Symbiat.

I experienced similar errors. You might look at how many contacts you have imported. I have Gizmo on my mobile as well as my tablets, and had imported many (like, hundreds) of contacts...

Re: Just be patient. We'll have your location before your second cup of coffee gets c

I hate to say it, but my personal experience with Nokia and GPS has been less than positive. I have an N95-3 and a N810, and both take quite a while to lock in. As both devices are fairly new, I am...

Re: How do you assemble the car mount?

You can pick up a replacement suction cup that is made for the Garmin GPS units if you want to mount the N810 to the windshield. It doesn't take much tweaking to make the mounts match up. The...

Re: Maemo Mapper v2.2 for OS2006/OS2007/OS2008

Tuxsteve

If the gps could be configured when MM started, that sounds like it would be an ideal solution. I hate to feel like such a 'taker', but I have no expertise in programming or coding. At...

Tuxedosteve

Did you get the gps in MM to work without opening Maps first? I'm a bit shaky as to how to proceed from here, and would be grateful for any assistance that you could offer. Thanks.

Re: Maemo Mapper v2.2 for OS2006/OS2007/OS2008

@ gnuite.

I tried the 'file path' option first, before posting. I am assuming that the default info filled in under that heading in the options menu is sufficient, and that there isn't anything...

Re: Maemo Mapper v2.2 for OS2006/OS2007/OS2008

Not sure if this is unique or not, but I can't seem to get the app to recognize the internal gps on my 810. The new version is great, but would be greater with the internal gps. Great work gunite!...

@ Munky261.

I would have carpooled and split the gas. I contemplated that trip for an hour yesterday morning. As it sits, I am currently waiting for mine to be shipped from Nokia.
