Re: Titan's Power Kernel bug? - Can't see DD-WRT APs

I may have a similar issue. I just got a Buffalo ZR-HP-G300NH and flashed the latest DD-WRT firmware (don't have specific version number).

Here is the interesting part. When I use no encryption,...

Re: Vote for Google Maps on Maemo/N900

I perfer the Google Maps approach for several reasons. First, my #1 priority for a GPS system is it's POI database. I would actually prefer an always online approach since you constantly get the...

Re: Looks like the MeeGo Handset UX is almost out - Due 30 June

Haven't been following Android as closely lately. But if HTC Sense UI isn't available on non-HTC phones, then you've pretty much proven my point.

If you end up only buying HTC phones because of...

Re: Looks like the MeeGo Handset UX is almost out - Due 30 June

This probably just more of a personal nit-pick of mine, but I (think) I would rather install "the base handset experience" instead of the Nokia (or any other vendor customization) branded one. ...

Re: what do you miss in the n900???

Improve the maps (google maps on n95 was fantastic) and improve the battery life and overall I'm a happy camper.

The only other minor complains would be slightly more accommodating phone features.

Re: Contact Cleaner????

I think what he is wanting is something that goes through the 500 contacts and identifies all of the potential duplicates (or same contact from different sources) and automatically merges them.

I...

Re: Any way to modify autocomplete dictionary?

bump.

I'm busy at the moment, but this could be a great idea for an app. It would read all of your auto-complete entries and allow you to view/edit/delete them.

Re: Take the official Nokia N900 Survey!

Done. I hope they don't take my bashing of Ovi Maps (as much as it deserves it) as any indicator that I don't like the n900 in general.

Anyway, Nokia if you are listening then FIX OVI MAPS!

Re: maps on n900, best options

The main reason I don't use it is because the POIs are nowhere (not even in the same league) as Google's. There are also tons of other annoyances that keep it from being my goto application, but I...

Re: Typing Suggestions

@fraaaaanka - While I agree to some extent that it is frustrating, it still doesn't mean that we shouldn't improve it (or build tools to improve it).

I'm pretty sure that this has been answered somewhere here in the forums but I'm unable to find it...

How can you edit the entries for the suggestions you get when typing?

Additionally, this could lessen the pain for when contacts do "unmerge" as well.

Re: Tough, clear, smooth drag/swip/stylus friendly screen protectors?

I've had the phantomskinz ever since I got the device a couple months ago.

Re: [Announce] Erminig-NG: two-way synchronization Google Calendar <-> Fremantle Calendar

That said, is there...
