That happens to me while scrolling; its a momentary "lag" which is fixed by scrolling over that area again...

You did apt-get autoremove? It will surely remove the meta package then! What you need to do is post the output of apt-get install twitter --reinstall

The above will show what has been stopping it...

I didn't say it is not working at all but when swiping if your previous screen is different from where you want to swipe to there is a jarring transition which has come into effect with PR1.3 only...

I've switched on my phone a number of times at 4% and plugged the charger. Since profilematic's daemon needs time to start it doesn't interfere with my 4-8% rule. On the two occassions it did restart...

Yeah the 3rd-party keyboard/theme is to be blamed then... Just don't use those or report them on their thread. Since I haven't used them before, I don't have much of an idea on why/what it breaks...
