Re: Samsung Galaxy Note

How is the note taking capabilities of the GNote? Most importantly can the stylus be used to make reasonably precise graphs, doodles, handwritten notes?

I'm in theory really salivating over...

Re: MoNav Qt client in repository?

Hello,

I have a VPS that I'm thinking of using to preprocess certain maps in almost real time and then use the N900 as a client that will have most of the maps that I could want already installed....

Re: [Announce] Enhanced lockscreen

I'm not sure about you, but certain emails, calls, messages are more important than others. Having a list instead of or as well as the number of such new items would be of great use to me. Getting...

Re: N9 hits FCC??? Nokia N9 Teaser Video

The portable screen I carry with me would ideally be 5"-7" and matte, I use a Viliv S5 with Ubuntu on it currently. It would have an active digitiser or be resistive - HTC flyer is just about right...

Re: N9 hits FCC??? Nokia N9 Teaser Video

This is no device for me as the screen neither is resistive nor does it have an active digitiser. This lack of functionality is enough for me to not worry about what else it does or doesn't have. ...

Re: The future of your Nokia Windows phone

People, in general, are neither technical enough nor geeky enough to really appreciate the N900. So what, I am and from my experience I'm more often right then wrong. In any event I won't ever own...

Re: For your next smartphone, will you choose N9 or switch to an Android phone / iPhone ?

For my part I will never buy another cell phone, there is simply no need. I purchased the n900 as a tablet and while its dimensions are simply too diminutive to really operate at that level, that is...

Nokia please make a big n900

I know we make fun of you for providing us with very little customer support and giving all the "goodies" to Symbian but you could do one last thing for the Maemo platform, make a bigger n900. Make...

Re: [PATCH] Desaturate instead of blur (hildon-desktop)

MohammadAG/thp a very nice mod. It's very unintelligent to force the n900 to work at blurring the background making it virtually impossible to make out details on anything but the selected window. ...

Re: viliv S5 - nice specs

Imperiallight any reason for this? I don't have enough cash for the 3g model however I got a steal for a little more than $400 for the 32gb ssd non-3g. The community is nothing like a mostly open...

I want to use XFig in Easy Debian but to do so I need middle, and right mouse buttons. Long press doesn't appear to work in XFig to emulate right mouse button - does this have to do with Motif - and...

Re: any chance of getting a better chess game for maemo?

You can use Easy Debian and install what ever chess client/engine you desire. This is exspensive in terms of space but eboard for instance works very well. I like to play via FICS but you can...

Re: Topic of the Day: Should Nokia Drop Meego and roll with Android?

An Android only phone is as worthwhile to me as a Win 7 phone. That is, I don't want either and have no intention of ever purchasing one, other than the G1 I bought as an early Android adopter. So...
