So what is your suggestions, not in a "they should do something" way, but actual thing they should do which would make for example Facebook port/fix Whatsup on Sailfish. You must have tons of ideas...

Not sure what causes the problem for you, but I have used Mediamonkey on windows to embed the cover images to every MP3 file and I see no unusual CPU use. Maybe you can instead of embedding the cover...

Try to open a web page before starting the player. I think it can't open a connection by itself at least if "allow background connections" isn't active.

With current rate WP strategy is not going to be a long one. Unfortunately it means whatever strategy Nokia has isn't going to be a long one. I.e., all eggs in one basket has its downsides.

Maybe PM should not allow to use conditions that would invalidate itself?
I would be perfectly happy to limit powersaving features to time based rules, if that meant more reliability when it comes...

How does Nokia's push actually work, does it involve Nokia server? Because many of the push services seem to be offline or not functioning at the moment. RSS feeds, emails from "ovi" etc.
